I try to be diligent in all the work I do. I have overcome many obstacles in life because I always try my best at whatever is put in front of me, whether it is at work, school or in relationships. Names have meaning in my family; my name, Emily, means industrious. I have taken that definition and made it a part of who I am. I hope my diligence paves the way towards my aspirations in life. I respect others who try their best and want to work with other people that prioritize hard work.

I want to be authentic in life. I want to stand by my values and beliefs even if they go against the status quo. Part of being authentic is not manipulating people. If people work with me or for me, I want them to trust me because of who I am, not a facade I put up. 

I want to treat everyone with love. I believe everyone is deserving of love and compassion. Something as simple as a smile can make such a huge difference, and I want to pass the kindness others showed me to those who may need it. I want to treat everyone with respect and compassion. I believe that everyone, from all backgrounds of life, deserves equal respect and kindness.

I want to remain creative in life. I am a dreamer and come up with new ideas often. My hobbies are often artistic in nature because I enjoy seeing things through different perspectives. While I try to be realistic to an extent, I want to continue looking for new inspirations even when the world seems set against certain dreams. My passion to be creative has been a consistent motivator in my life goals.
